Would You Take Rondon?

this season we have had Jamie Vardy up front. He has been doing fantastically and managed to score just under 20 goals this season, and was in for a run with the golden boot.

But, one key problem we all saw was there was no plan B, and we needed another striker to replace Vardy. Luckly for us this season Vards has not been injuired so he managed to play all season, but we need a good back up, don’t we?

Slimani never came through and played well, Nacho has been lacking confidence and might go out on loan, so should we buy a new striker?

Rondon this season has gone on loan to Newcastle and within 30 games, has managed to score 11 goals and bag himself 7 assists. Would you take him?

Why not? He’s a real handful when he’s on the pitch. Scores goals, I’d take him.

With the service that our playmakers provide, he, along with mitrovic and giroud would get 15+ goals next season for us. Newcastle and Fulham haven’t got a quality, visual player in their ranks. Maybe shelvey but he never plays. And giroud, he’s never had the opportunity to be a fans favourite. He’s the top goal scorer in PL history I believe when coming off the bench, or could be second behind Defoe, I can’t remember, and for me that speaks volumes of his capabilities. One of these 3 to partner JV up front, and keeping Teilemans, we’d be a force next season

Honestly feel like we should be looking at more proven prem players rather than buying from different leagues, granted they are a fair bit cheaper but atleast we know what we’re buying
