Would you take Mahrez Back?!

If Riyad Mahrez was available to buy back to help us next season, would you take him back? Would he want to play for us again?

How much is he worth? In his 50 appearance’s for Manchester City, he has scored 14 goals, a decent conversion rate for a Winger?
Admittedly he has probably not made as many appearance’s for them as he wants, but when he plays he is still a class player, so will he stay at Man City? He is 29 years old, so he is at the peak of his career, would he not want consistent 1st team football?

We asked you, the fans, if you would take him back to the KP, in a Foxes top, and this is what you had to say…!

Luke Garner
Would love to have him back, however that being said it rarely turns out well when a former player comes back, not to mention the fact he’s 29ish now I’d rather invest money in a younger prospect as even if the player didn’t work out we would most likely be able to sell them for a profit anyway. Sometimes it’s just best to move on

Michael Barrett
It’s to easy to say he was a great player yes we would have him back but no matter how good and how well he played he showed Leicester City our club no respect when he decided to jump ship. He refused to play for us and i’m sure Man City had a word in his hear to say this does not look good just before he decided to put his Leicester shirt back on again. He has since said he wasted two years at Leicester and in my mind he should never come back. Imagine what that would say to other young players if they decided they wanted a move . If he’d have left the right way i would welcome him back but the fact is he didn’t

Khelil Lkh
He is a great player and dreams of crowning the title. Lester made a name for him and he also made a history of Lester .. I think he must stay outside of Lester in order to achieve what he aspires to

T.J. Chapman
No chance! He’s arrogant & thinks football owes him something. I’m not denying what he did at Leicester was excellent (for the most part), but he’s not what Leicester need anymore.

Julian Taylor
Best player I’ve seen at King Power for us and there’s been a few

Tom Martin
Of course i would. There isn’t a player in man citys first team squad i would not take. Not going to happen tho

Lee Fox
Seriously does anyone really think he would play for Leicester again wanted to go the last 2 years he was here. Great player never going to happen

Darren Bradford
Hold on people moaned when he left, Bood when he played here now he could be on the move again people asking if we take him back short minds come to mind

Kenny Giddings
IF and that’s an impossible if, his asking price would be in the region of 60-70 million. I really don’t think he’d come, his wage demands would be too high considering we know he doesnt track back. That would leave ricardo to sit back all the time and not get forward. I wouldn’t get him back.

Thomas Ward
no way, not a chance, he threw his toys out the pram and went AWOL on us, he made his bed that way, so he’s gotta sleep in it

Kostas Stefanidis
Whatever some of LCFC fans think about his return, honestly he is one of a kind . Would like to see him again with LCFC shirt. About the price is going to be for sure over 60 million.

David Thompson
He’s a legend people should lay off him.
Sensational player who without we wouldn’t have won the league

Luke Palms
Waste of thread. He will never come back..if he ever left city it would be to another of the ‘big 6’. Not Leicester

Ross Elsby
Absolutely, how much? I think about 60 million. He would be the difference to us not losing to teams that shut up shop and hit us on the counter. He would provide that bit of extra skill that would see us beat Norwich, Southampton and Burnley, that would have us sitting 2nd….not 3rd.

Rhys John James Mcgreal
Naa he’s was the most talented player in a blue shirt for us but I dont think you will get the same player back. Wouldn’t be worth it

Luke Snowy Johnson-Motyl
Absolute disloyal snake. Never buy him back. He’ll want to go to Barcelona next anyway I reckon
