With the sacking of Claude Puel this Sunday, we asked the fans …

“Would you bring Nigel Pearson back in for the short term, to guide the players and club until the end of the season and then appoint a long term manager in the summer ? “

We wanted to know their views…. and they didn’t hold back… it was a very mixed response….

Malcolm Shaw
Nigel’s type of play would never won the league he took the reserve club down was sacked that’s what he’ll do to this one if brought back

Susan Valerie Sharpe
Yes. It was Nigels team that won the league.

Paul Sherwood
No. Someone who failed at derby and took a decent Belgium division 2 side to the relegation zone. Stop living in the past. So King Power sack him twice, why would they re employ him?

Brendan Carnachan
What is the obsession with Pearson? Sacked by Derby, sacked in Belgium move on. We can do & need better

Emma Louise
I have a soft spot for him, as he did pick some talent.. vardy for example! But it’s going backwards not forwards so no I don’t think It’s a good idea to bring him back. X

Paul Crook
Yes!!! Re-unite Pearson, shakey & Walsh

Cliff Dexter
Why blame managers? Players know they wont be sacked if they cant be bothered to perform cap there pay and put them on a performance related pay schedule that will give them a reason to perform then at the end of there contract sack them. They can’t then play for a couple of years. That will get their attention……… easy

Ricky Hart
No he’s been sacked twice for not being good enough, Steve Walsh senior got the players in and king claudio moulded them into the premiership winning side they became, why would we want a manager back that the owners have sacked twice

Scott Wood
all day long was his team that won the prem not raneris

Antony Steven Mason Boughton
Sacked 3 times by top come on have a word

Jennifer Shaw
It’s a big yes from me! He’d slot straight back in, he knows the club and some of players. Makes sense surely x

Graham Ritchie
Whilst he did a great job for Leicester and has to be given a lot of credit for the premier winning team as most of it was his this won’t happen. Personally I’d have no problem with it as I do believe he would do the job of securing our premiership status, but it won’t happen.

Martyn Johnson
Whilst I’m a fan of big Nige we need to be more ambitious.

Lee Veasey
I probably would to be honest. Knows the club like the back of his hand and a lot of the players.

Joey Sanderson
NO NO NO. I’d give my season ticket up if he came back.

Jack Taylor
I would take Pearson on because he’s knows Leicester very well

Carl Panter
This season is dead and buried. No point bringing someone back who has already been sacked. And if that happens i will go back to asda in lutterworth to get my job back after getting the sack 10yrs ago. Get someone in place keep under wraps till the end of the season, and said manager has 4 months to observe and make the changes necessary for us to improve next season.

Michele Garcia
Love Nigel Pearson but it’s a NO from me

Jerry Wesley
I bet half these saying yes wanted him out originally?
