Will Tielemans Sign With Us?

Just before we sacked Puel, he brought in Youri Tielemans on a loan deal until the end of the season from Monaco. In return, we gave them Adrian Silva also on a long deal until the end of the season.

When Youri came in, he played very well and impressed all of us in Leicester City.
Although, as of recent we all thought he would have signed for us by now….

It has been a few days since the transfer window opened and we all thought we should pay the £40 Million Monaco were asking for him.
With Silva at Monaco, we would have thought to make a deal consisting of a price and a swap in players.

But, as of recent clubs like Manchester United and Spurs have come in and are potentially trying to sign him.

Not only is this our only problem, it looks like Leicester’s owners are trying to lower the price on his head.
A key aspiration clearly stated by the club was to push for the top six in the Premier League, but to do this we need to spend the big bucks.

Monaco are only asking for £39 Million (I know, ONLY !) for him but we want to lower that price. If you asked me, i would be willing to pay up to £50 Million for his quality.

Will we sign him or will he go to another club ??

Whatever the cost buy him, he’d be a massive signing for us and could be the difference as to where we finish next season and beyond. Plus he’ll be worth twice as much in 3 years if we then needed to sell him. #nobrainer

He is a good pIayer and has a lot of talent most of his fans with the Leicester big team man U and spurs are interested in him I think it’s important that youri will the tielemans decide to want to be with Leicester? If he insists he wants to be with Leicester, he will be a very promising star.

It’s well out of our hands, I’ve no doubt that a bid has gone in and a wage offer. I think Tielemans would be up for it, but Monaco have played the loan game well, they have put him in the shop window and now want to maximise the money they get. If Leicester don’t get him, it will not be for the lack of trying. I bet there is a lot going on behind the scenes not just with in comings, but trying to keep hold of players. I honestly think with Rodgers the players have a Manager who they know will get them success and the signing of RODGERS as manager will be Leicesters best signing for decades.

He will sign for us, Monaco will lose Silva if he doesn’t and he’s been excellent for them. I can see Leicester being reluctant to buy Tielemans at £40M+, they’ll be trying to negotiate a better price but his agent will be holding out for more

We have wanted him from day one. And they want Silva. We all know agents are a pain but it should all have been done and dusted and he signed as soon as the window opened.

Don’t forget, this isn’t championship manager on the PC, putting a bid in or offering terms doesn’t guarantee to end up with a signing.
it’s the agents job is to get the BEST possible deal for his client, if other teams come in, you can’t blame him for that, you’d all do the same if multiple Companies were vying for you to work for them, he’ll be sure to negotiate based on that, seeing as spurs may lose eriksen, and arsenal need a whole new midfield, its not going to be cut and dried he’s going to come to us, all we can do is let the owner and the management team do their best and hope we get him. Ultimately, it’ll be down to Tielemans, and where he feels will give him the best boost to his career.

More likely to lose a big name than lose out on this man. Maguire would get game time anywhere and not sure what’s going to stop him taking a bigger pay cheque.
Tielemans if you recall didn’t play full games initially, he’s incredible but he’s still on a development curve, if he goes to a bigger club he’ll likely sit on the bench but Ofcourse they’ll want him.
Same applies to Madison, Hamza, Barnes. They’ll become bench warmers and that’ll curb their development.
