Well, well, well, another rumour has cropped up that Spurs are interested in signing our Winger… Dimmi Gray! Do we sell him to them? We think not!

Tottenham Hotspur 'open talks' with Leicester City winger Demarai Gray - Leicestershire Live

Why should we sell one of our players to a club that is going to be fighting in the same kind of area of the table…
Some fans argue that we should take the money and run with it, but for around £20 Million, we think he should stay at Leicester and make some progress with us.

Along with these rumours, it is reported that he wants to extend his Leicester contract, but at 120K a week, not a chance… Right?!?!
He has got 1 year left on his Leicester contract, so if that is the kind of money he wants, he needs to start performing better!

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about gray going to Spurs ..!
“It a tough one, on one hand, snap their hands off and run with the money, but then we can all see him go and play his best Football ever at Spurs, becoming a regular and then into the England squad. If he wants that 120K a week at Leicester, he need to start proving he is worth that kind of money!”

He has been with us since 2016, making 132 appearances for us, scoring only 10 goals, so there is room for improvement with him in a LCFC shirt, hopefully he can provide that for us this season!

We asked the fans about Gray to Spurs, and this is what you had to say about him going to Spurs…!

Graham Moore
I think gray will be better this season 🙂 give more playing time

Thomas Kristoffer
Yes. Doesnt produce a quality final ball often enough

Darren Thomas
Yeah he doesn’t seem to have a footballing brain he holds on to the ball when he should be passing and passes when he could make a run , he certainly has the ability but isn’t quick enough in the head to make the decisions that would make him in to a great player

Anthony Coppersthwaite
I’d sell him for 10 million! Get rid of the deadwood.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho 'holds personal transfer talks' with Leicester winger Demarai Gray

Neil Freddie O’connell
All this talk about Gray being an impact sub is ridiculous. He is a very good player who will be good for us . Many first yeam players dont always perform as we would wish and Gray is just the same . Have faith

Kassra Powles
We need to be adding players to the squad, not shedding. I don’t think Gray has developed as we’d hoped but he still adds depth to the squad, even if only for cup games or as a sub.

David Brooks
Every time I look at lcfc they are looking at this player or that player but nothing seems to be happening we need a quality left back a central defender a winger and another striker the season is only two weeks away lcfc need to get their finger out not leave it till the season has started

Rich Walker
I’d sell him in an instant!! Sub for the last 4 years and under plenty of managers shows you he just is not good enough!

Neil Higgins
Need to get rid, he has potential but just hasn’t settled in at City, he’ll probably do well elsewhere

Allan Steel
Depends if we’re going to actually get on with signing some players!

Riz Siddiq
No. He’s shown a lot more potential in the last few games.

Matt Pell
Yeah I would, as long as we bring in a replacement. The squads small as it is.

Mark Truman
No keep him weve already got a small squad he’s an impact player from the bench

Nigel Maxwell
If we sell him for that the fraud squad will pay us a visit for selling a good player haha

Will Holloway
No…. he’s a good impact substitution!!

Rob Smith
I’d sell for 20 mill but not to Spurs

Elliott Holdsworth
Why is ndidi missing training and he didn’t ? When they are both linked to spurs ?

Sam Taylor
Get rid and sign Benrahma all day long

Watch some of Gray’s highlights as to wheather we should keep or sell him!
