We’re in the FA Cup Finals!!!
We beat Southampton to book ourselves into the FA Cup final against Chelsea as Iheanacho’s 10th goal in 7 games comes at a crucial moment for the foxes!
Nacho fired Leicester into our first FA Cup final since 1969 as 4,000 spectators witnessed their 1-0 win over Southampton down in London at Wembley.
Kel’s swept finish at the second attempt after 55 minutes was enough to ensure the Foxes progress to the final to face Chelsea. There is expected to be around 21,000 fans allowed to attend the final, including more supporters than NHS staff unlike the Semi-Finals, when they return to Wembley on may 15 looking to win our first ever FA Cup.
James Maddison missed two good chances to extend Leicester’s lead following his introduction off the bench in front of the watching Gareth Southgate, but one goal was enough for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match!
“What a match it was! It was much needed for us, a massive confidence boost for the lads. With everything going on with the Super League nonsense, it is about time we show the world who we are! No one more than us deserves some silverware after this season, so let’s smash Chelsea who are considered to be in this ‘Super League’ and prove to the world that these clubs are nothing without a little competition!”
