We ARE backing Claude Puel and backing Leicester City!

by 100%LCFC Editor Phil Holloway

We are backing the boss, most of the 100%LCFC content team agree he is doing a decent job, even if sometimes the performances on the pitch can be a little, how do you want to say it…. DULL ! And let’s be fair, some of the post match interviews can be BEYOND DULL… but most of us think he is building a young team for the future.

However, some Foxes fans have asked us…

“Can 100% run the poll who wants to see Clueless sacked & who wants him to stay ?”

Response from me, 100%LCFC PHIL ..

“Will we run a poll on Puel in or Puel out…. well NO not at the moment… with everything that has happened at Leicester City in the last 6 weeks, and us sat in the top half of the table and in the last 8 of the League Cup, we don’t feel it is a valid debate for a poll. We are NOT stirring the pot, and we do not feel that a poll is the right thing to do at the moment… so BACK THE LADS… BACK THE MANAGER, SING LOUD and BACK LEICESTER !!”

So we asked fans on Facebook and Twitter to “Comment YOUR views, some fans DO want to debate this, but do you agree with PHIL or not ?”

Here are some of the fans views…

Paul Ashcroft
I don’t honestly think Puel can take us forward, his team selections can sometimes be baffling. We get rid of 3 strikers and now we can not score yet Puel says he’s not going for one in January. We are sitting well in the league but a lot of that is due to teams below us dropping points,he has to go.

Danny Spencer
12 wins in 12 months let that sink in for just a moment. We won’t be top half come January and we won’t be in the league cup at this point can we sack him then??

Mick Johnson
Danny Spencer ….1 loss in 7…..You can make stats say anything

Danny Spencer
Mick Johnson that’s true now it’s only good practise to analyse those games in that 6 game unbeaten run 2 wins and 4 draws now look at who we drew against sides at the bottoms of the league Fulham Burnley West Ham Brighton all struggling when we played them we’ve only beaten 1 team above us all season that was Watford on a shocking run now they are below us. Don’t remotely kid yourself about a 6 game unbeaten run against the worst sides in the league and we should and could easily have lost half of them

Martin Peyton
Yes, for now anyway. Can’t see how we can justify sacking him when we are 9th in the table. Ok we might not be playing great, but we are still upper mid table which isn’t bad. Lets see where the next half a dozen or so games take us

Peter Smith
hes killing the spirt of the club

Joe Smyth
Puel is the man Vichai chose and trusted and backed up until the tragedy. Top knows what he is doing too. No one on here is at all qualified to say he should be sacked. Puel is looking at the long term which is just what we need. People criticised when Pearson was sacked, Ranieri appointed and Ranieri sacked and all turned out to be amazing decisions. Support the club and get behind them and they will make what decisions they need to, when they need to.

Jo Callis
Always back the club but cannot see a way forward with Puel in charge!. Sorry!.

James Joyce
Are we backing Puel….If not you need to wake up! We’re 9th in the league and in the quarter finals of the League Cup……….what exactly were you expecting? To win the League again???

Matt Clarke
What’s the point in running a Leicester City fan page if you’re just gonna be like “no, not doing the poll you want because I want Puel in, what you want matters not”.

George Sutton
Puel in. Too many fans have delusions of grandeur and think we should be replicating the title winning season. This league has some good teams in it. Would take a top 8 finish which we’re on course for, and a good cup run: QF of the Carabao Cup this Tuesday!

Taylor Bennett
In you all have lost your mind expecting us to be winning every game and be in Europe’s places mid table is where we are and mid table team is what we are

Colin Palmer
Same old, same old. Did the same at Saints, they got rid. He employs boring tactics. We dont do boring

Robert Garner
Sack him he is ruining the club, boring tactics mind boggling team selections…. Totally clueless

Tom Gray
Puel stays, with his long range goals for the team, developing a young team takes time to see who fits where. We are not a top 6 team yet, it takes tons of money and time to get there.

Dean Moore
No not backing him don’t like his style of football too slow and doesn’t know his best team

Steve McBain
Get Harry in

John Dilkes
Don’t like him but give him until Jan 1st and see where we are then.

Steve Mardy
Puel chosen by Vichai and Top. Good enough for them, good enough for me. Sat through lots of boring games …which we lost in the past

Chris Meadows
Spot on! Everyone needs to calm down a bit and enjoy Christmas!

Jason Mills
Puel out. He’s turned us into the Southampton who sacked him. And people saying “be careful what you wish for” and comparing us to them if puel goes are clearly ignorant to the fact that we have better players and owners than Southampton, and will never mirror them.

Steven Snary
No……simple… had a enough of his clueless

Aggie Frith
Not a chance PUEL OUT

Andy Sibson
Not anymore, tried my hardest with him but enough is enough

Tony Fish
Puel Out. Come on Phil give us the peoples vote

Andrew Turlington
Brexit is nothing compared to Puexit!

Mike Sykes
Good call guys wait til March see where we are

Anthony Coppersthwaite
Puel out,Phil out

David Bartram
clown puel needs to go and any staff or structures this wet rag has put in place need to go as they do not work

WOW… now that is what we call a real mixed bag of fans views… forget BREXIT…. we now have PUELXIT as well here in Leicester !
