After a woeful start to the Premier League for LCFC, a break in the season sees players go away on International duty for their respected Country. Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne, Danny Ward, Caglar Soyuncu and Luke Thomas named in the Line ups last night.

Belgium 2 – 1 Wales

Youri Tielemans for Belgium

Before Kick off, Wales announced their starting Line Up with no Danny Ward as No.1 in goal. With Forest second choice Keeper Wayne Hennessey starting for them. Is this a coincidence or it’s after conceding a record number of goals in the first 7 games of 22.

On the other side of the pitch, we saw Youri Tielemans feature for Belgium with Timothy Castagne on the bench. Is this the time for Tielemans to impress in the World Cup to get that January move in the window.

Turkey 3 – 3 Luxembourg

Ex LCFC Player Cengiz Under for Turkey

We see our Turkish International Caglar Soyuncu start and captain the side against Luxembourg last night. Ending in a 3-3 draw, with ex LCFC player Cengiz Under on the scoresheet. How can Soyuncu be captain for Turkey, but cant even get in the Leicester side struggling to keep out goals?

Italy U-21 0 – 2 England U-21

England U-21 Celebrating

After a couple LCFC starts for our homegrown lad Luke Thomas, he was called up to feature on the bench last night, and came on in the 71st minute to help win 2-0 away. Does he get in Leicester’s starting XI for the Forest Derby.

With more Leicester City players featuring in the next week, Will we see an improved side to face Forest after this International break?
