Vardy Transfer Nonsense

Vardy to Everton ? What ???? Jamie Vardy is in the news today, for a couple of reasons. Firstly he has picked up a minor knock while training with England, which is a real shame as we would have all liked to see him play against Scotland potentially and bang a goal in. The more suprising transfer rumour is that Everton are interested in lining Vards up as a replacement if they sell Lukaku back to Chelsea for a reported £100m… which could be on the cards, as rumours have it that Diego Costa at Chelski has been sent a text by his boss Conte that he is not wanted at the Bridge anymore….

So the domino effect – and we are not talking about a 12″ pepparami – could be Jamie Vardy fills a gap at Everton…. it would seem a strange move if you ask us, sure Everton seem like a club going in the right direction, and if we are honest, we can’t see one of the so called big 6 clubs coming in for Vards now as his age will soon catch him up, and when the inevitable slowing of pace does come, his value will surely plumit.

We hope this is just media gossip and rumours, we think Vards has got another 2-3 great seasons at least with us here at Leicester… what do YOU think ?
