Update on Chilwell and Tagliafico!

Leicester City ‘are already dealing’ with Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico, who is being lined up as Ben Chilwell’s replacement amid reports linking the Englishman with a move to Chelsea, according to Italian publication Calciomercato.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea’s deal for Chilwell is ‘getting closer’ and Calciomercato has claimed that the Foxes are already working on a deal for his replacement – in the form of Argentina international Tagliafico.

Again the rumours are popping through the firing lines, and this time we have an update on Chilwell and Tagliafico!
For the past few weeks, we have been looking in selling Chilwell to rival Premier League side Chelsea, and we are looking to sign Tagliafico in replacement for him.

This is a long rumour, and people are questioning whether we are going to sell Chilwell or not, but it looks like we are. The reason it is taking a while is probably because we are negotiating some extra cash out of Chelsea, just like we did with Manchester United and Maguire!

Are you happy to see Chilwell go? This transfer will more than likely come through within the next 2 weeks, and that we are going to to get Tagliafico from it…

The Argentinian has had one of his best seasons yet in his Football career. The 27 year old has been playing for Ajax since 2018, and has made 68 league appearances, scoring 6 goals, and being a very consistent defender and attacking player!

“It is a shame to see Chilwell go, but if the money is anything like Maguire, take it and run and don’t look back! Also, along with this, Tagliafico is a very good player. Is he better than Chilwell? Who knows. BUT, he is and has been consistent for Ajax. I also like the fact that he is 27 years old, not too old but old enough to know how to calm situations down and have a cool head in situations. We saw Chilwell caught out a few times at Left Back, and i think with a more experiences player, we could have a good player on our hands!”

This is not the first time these two have been compared for Leicester. And as the rumours thicken, the reality sets in. Chilwell will go, and we will get Tagliafico for a solid replacement. And i think if you ask the Foxes Fans, they are not going to be that disheartened that we lost Chilwell!
