Trip to Old Trafford! Preview by Ethan Farmer
Manchester United Vs Leicester City Preview
Following the international break, Leicester return with a tough trip to Old Trafford. Brendan Rodgers will be hoping his side can maintain their form pre the break.
The Foxes have won six of their last nine in all competitions. However, three of those wins have come in Europe in four matches. In fact, Leicester look most at home when playing in the Europa Conference League.
Whilst in the Premier League they look inconsistent. Despite the win over Leeds, they were clearly second best throughout the match. This was followed up by a lacklustre performance at Arsenal and a mixed performance in the win over Brentford.
If Rodgers wants to keep hopes of qualifying for Europe, and potentially his job, he is going to need to get the Leicester of the last two seasons back – a team that was known for getting results against the ‘top 6’. Leicester even dispatched the Red Devils on their road to winning the FA Cup last season.
This along with Man United’s patchy form should give Leicester Fans some hope they can leave Old Trafford with a result.
