Transfer Window round-up! Who’s in and who’s out?!

So, as we are coming to an end to the transfer window, we are looking at who is coming into the club, who is leaving on loan and who is going/gone on a permanent deal…!

PLAYERS IN:

Under – We loaned Under from Roma on a season long loan, hoping that he will produce some good, quick and fast Football on the wing. We have only loaned him, but if he comes good in a Leicester shirt, Like Tielemans did when he was here, we could have the option to buy him for a rumoured amount of £20-30 Million, which could be a decent price for him. But he has all season too prove himself, which we have seen it takes more than a season for some players to settle in. Hopefully we can help his career out a bit by giving him a chance he never really got in the Serie A, let’s hope for the best from Cengiz!

Castagne – How do we start with Timmy? We signed him from Atalanta for around £21 Million, and a lot of fans where not sure on him, but now we all love him, and he has proven himself a very good player! In the opening 3 matches we had not much choice but to put him straight into the Right Back role with Riccy P injured and Chilwell being sold to Chelsea, and we were all hoping he would play a solid game, and he has done so indeed! He has scored a goal, scored a deflection goal and set up multiple chances already. Not only is he lining up to be Leicester’s player of the month, but he is also looking to get the Premier League’s player of the month! When Riccy comes back, we cannot wait for Castagne to come in and do this in the Left Back role as well, here’s hoping he can play at Left Back!

Along with Timmy, sure Rodgers has to be up for Manager of the month with this amazing start, especially if we go and win against West Ham this weekend? right?!

Fofana – Wesley is close to signing a contact with the foxes, and hopefully he can do it sooner rather than later. The 19 year old is rumoured to be worth around £40 Million, which is a lot for him but he looks promising, and clubs like West Ham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton have shown interest in him, but it looks like Leicester are going to get him soon! Hopefully he comes in and hits the ground running like Castagne did!

PLAYERS OUT

Diabate – we have sold Diabate to Trabzonspor. We are wishing him all the best, but could have he been given more of a chance for us? or was it too much to ask from him… Let’s hope we see him again taking league’s by storm!

Darnell Johnson – He has gone out on loan to Wigan on a season long loan. It is good for him to get some game time in, and come back to Leicester at the end of the season a more developed player. Maybe he will come back into the 1st team as well if he plays well at Wigan! Good luck Johnson!

Ghezzal – what’s happened to him Rachid? He is still a Leicester player but he is currently not on loan, are we going to let him go? Will he be part of Leicester’s future or are we looking at selling him to another club. We have not heard anything from him, or seen him go out on loan after coming back from Fiorentina… What do you think to him…?!

Silva – Another player that we don’t know what’s happened to. He went out on loan to Monaco with Slimani, and had a few decent matches over there. It looked at one point that they were going to sign him, but then that has fallen through the ground a bit and he is still another player who we would class as ‘dead wood’ sitting somewhere in and around the club. Rumours had it that we were going to terminate his contract, but that doesn’t look to be the case, what’s happened to him? What do you think about him at Leicester still?

Slimani – Rumour has it that we are considering loaning Slim out to newly promoted West Brom to help them in their Premier League campaign, why would we loan him to another BPL team? Well, one of the main reasons to do this is to help us without playing for us, as someone like him could take some points away from clubs like Everton, Newcastle’s and those sorts of clubs to help us out in our season. Also, with him getting some game time we could have the option to sell him if someone comes in for a bid for him, so let’s hope he has a good season for them if he goes!

Matty James – what is there to say about him… He is going to be one of those players who stays on the bench here and there, and would be classed as our last resort in Midfield as we have Maddison, Praet, Tielemans, Wilf, Mendy Etc. What would you do with him… Would you sell him to another club or at least loan him out for some game time? We think that would be the best option for him…

This roundup for Leicester is just about done, and before the transfer window is done, there is a lot of dead wood floating around the club, so hopefully we can ship some of it out before the window closes within the next couple of weeks…
