Transfer Gossip – Jack Grealish £20m Summer Target for Foxes

So with just about 4 games left of the season, and City heading towards a somewhat dissapointing yet highly respectable 8th position finish in the league, we can start to hear the transfer gossip starting already…. So let’s start with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish….. What do you think !?

Rumoured to being targeted by Leicester for around £20m in the summer, much of this may well depend on wether Villa come back up to the Prem after a couple of seasons down in the Championship or not themselevs. They are currently 4th, so looking good to enter the lottery of the play offs, but with little chance of getting the remaining automatic 2nd spot after neighbours Wolves have clinched the top spot.

Grealish has had some issues off the field which have been well reported, but this season had a slow start after some Kidney issues which saw him miss the first 3 months of the league season. He has however been a key part in Villas charge up towards the play offs, and he has undoubtedly got talent. Perhaps he has finally matured now and the next few seasons could perhaps see him play the best football of his carear.

Some Villa fans have said he has been playing that well he could get an outside chance of an England call up for this summers World Cup squad… we very much doubt that will happen though.

He is reportadly on around £20k per week [nice if you can get it] but a move to Leicester would no doubt mean a decent weekly increase, and the chance next season of potentially helping Leicester break into the top 6 and a European spot.

Much will no doubt hinge on Villa’s own success or failure this season we think…. and even though he is a lifelong Villa fan having been with the club since he was 6, perhaps he would slot in well at Leicester ?
