Lingard continued his fantastic form with 2 more goals as West Ham returned to the top 4 with a 3-2 win over us down at the London Stadium.

The Hammers went ahead on the 29th minute with a fantastic first-time finish from Ligard, who tucked in Coufal’s cross on the half-Volley from the edge of the penalty area.

And again Jesse Lingard scored on the 44th minute mark, tapping into an empty ned after Bowen beat Schmeichel to the ball…

Bowen added to West Ham’s lead when a 3rd goal went in from Soucek’s pass three minutes into the second half.

We tried to claw back, as Nacho set up a tense finale with two goals in the final 20 minutes
First the Nigerian finished on the turn after being set up by Pereira before he fired in from close range in stoppage time to make it 3-2, but it was not enough to get any points and West Ham walked away with all 3 points.

West Ham held on to return to fourth place on 55 points, a point and a position behind Leicester.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had about the match…
“It was a tough match going into the match, facing an on form West Ham side with a lot of on form players, and to top it all off with the bad news of a handful of Leicester players breaking COVID rules, putting a downer on the match before kick-off even happened. Regardless of the situation outside of the football stadium, we should have played football and that is that, but they players didn’t turn up, and with the last little push in the final 20 minutes, it still was not enough. we got what we deserved against West Ham, so now we need to chin up, move on, and go and beat Southampton in the FA Semi-Final Cup, otherwise this season could be another poor end missing out on big opportunities”
