The new season is getting closer and closer! Since the restart of Football after the COVID-19 break, we all enjoyed watching football pretty much every day… But since the Premier League season has ended, we have been waiting for the restart to happen… And it all starts with the fixtures being released!

Earlier this morning, the fixtures just got released, and we are kicking off the new season with newly promoted side West Brom! Some would class West Brom as one of our closer rivals in the Premier League alongside Villa! It’s no Derby or Forest, but they are not good enough to be in the Premier League, evidently, we all know that we are the King’s of the East Midlands for Football!
Last time we played West Brom was back in 2018, when they got relegated, and we beat them comfortably 1-4 at their ground… More of this please when we play them at the start of the season please!

In our first five matches, we have a decent run in, and a good chance to pull in some big points early on…!
To start with, it is West Brom, then Burnley (who we did lose to last time around) Then 2nd place Giants Manchester City, who did the double over us last season, then West Ham, in which we beat them 4-1 last meeting and finally Aston Villa!

With all of these fixtures coming through, one of the best fixture is Post-Christmas Football. Boxing Day matches are the best! After being full of Christmas dinner, pudding and beer. relaxing all day sitting on the sofa binge watching all the matches, it is the best! And who else do we have than Manchester United! Everyone loves a good game, and all neutral fans love watching Leicester take on the so called ‘Big Six’ for a real good match! Who knows, maybe there can be fans there this time around? Would that be nice…!

To end the season on, we have another hard last few matches, playing Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United! A pretty tough last few matches to end the season on. Hopefully, this season, the last few matches won’t mean anything and our season is already in flying colours and we are that high up that 3 games to end with can’t ruin our form or position!

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say on the fixtures for next season…!
“The fixture are the fixtures, we have to play everyone, twice at some point in the season. The fact that we got who we got to start with is a good challenge for us, and we realistically need to pick up around 10 points out of a possible 15 from those first five fixtures… Onward and upwards for the Foxes this season, hopefully we can cope with Europa Football and Premier League, and it might help if we made a signing!!”

This is what you, the fans, had to say on our fixtures for the season!

Adrian Bugg
Why do we always get a tough run in with the last few games.

Stephen Moult
Fixtures don’t mean nothing to me until we’re aloud back in the stadiums

For God’s sake. Last 3 a disaster again.

Would prefer a hard start and easy run in, but have to make sure of champions league spot before last 3 games this year.

Lee-Marie Springthorpe
Hopefully we’re crowned champions before the last 3 games.

Jay Goddard
Got to be happy with the start not bad
