Spurs After 2 Leicester Stars…
We all knew that our star players would be looking for a move since our relegation back into the Championship, and the window has only opened and there has already been sniffs in and around the club that are hunting them down…
So, who are these players, and who is linked to them?
To begin with, Tottenham Hot Spurs have put in an official bid to sign Harvey Barnes and James Maddison, our 2 stand out players in the 2022/23 season, and we all knew the club would sell to gain back some financial revenue after losing 2/3 of income from getting relegated, and from getting relegated we also knew that these players will be getting sold for less than wanted, but Spurs’ official offer is on the side of embarrassing…
Spurs have put in an official bid of £50 Million for both Maddison and Barnes, but even after relegation surely that price is too low for both of them?!
Maddison has 1 year left on his contract, and yes we would need to sell him for multiple reasons but the main one would be so we can cash out before his contract is up, but we all value him at around 40-60 Million Pounds, and for Harvey Barnes with a few years left on his contract, playing the best he ever has in the Premier League and his career, he is valued at around 30-40 Million Pounds, an average of Minimum £70 Million and maximum of £100 Million for the pair of Foxes…
This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say on Barnes and Maddison’s offer…
“Personally i think it is a shambless of an offer. Yes, we got relegated and are looking to sell both players to bulk up financially, but to split the pair for £50 Million is a joke of an offer. Maddison right now is worth £40 Million and Barnes is worth around £30 Million, both based on contracts and current form, so if an offer came in for around £65-70 Million for the pair, that would make more sense. We need to sell them quick, but i think that we can sniff out better offers, but we need them gone ASAP to move forward and bring in new players in plenty of time”
What do YOU make to their situation and this offer from Spurs?
Is it a joke of a bid from them or a fair evaluation?
