So Many New Signings!!

So, we are in the last few days of the transfer window, and we are being linked with loads of players before deadline ends… Do YOU know who we are linked with this January?!

Jack Harrison

A surprise signing that we are heavily linked with is Leeds winger Jack Harrison, but is he worth the money?

Rumours are that Leeds are not interested in selling Jack Harrison to ‘close relegation side’ Leicester, and that Harrison himself is NOT interested in leaving Leeds. With 18 months left on his contract Leeds have put a price above his head, for a rumoured £35 Million, surely that is a NO GO move for the foxes?!

Harrison this season has played 17 matches, scoring only 1 goal and getting 4 assists in the Premier League. He joined Leeds back in 2018 in the Championship on loan from Manchester City after having an unsuccessful loan spell to Middlesbrough, becoming a regular player for Leeds, but this season he has been sidelined by ‘better talent’… so is the asking price from Leeds to high?

“There is no way we should sign Harrison. his stats, the price, the fact he doesn’t want to leave Leeds to join us, it doesn’t make sense. I am all for signing proven Premier League players but for £35 Million? No chance! With 18 months left on his contract he is worth £10-15 Million at best with his stats, i think we should move on from him.” – LFTV’s Sam

Tete

One winger we have been linked to for over a week now is Tete, a 22 Year old Brazilian winger who is currently on loan with Lyon in the French League.

With his time in Ligue 1, he has made a total of 26 appearances for Lyon, scoring 8 goals and getting 7 assists! He has made a good impact in the past season at Lyon, and he is currently still on loan with the French Club, but Leicester have contact both Lyon and Tete’s loane club Shakhtar Donetsk to buy the young winger for a rumoured 17-20 Million Euros. Do YOU think he is worth this price?!

“He seems like a good player, but yet to have any premier league experience. It has worked with some players for us, but also not worked. For me we’re not in a position to be making rash decisions this close to the bottom 3, so we should sign some more premier league experienced players” – LFTV’s Sam

Djed Spence

Spence is a 22 year English Right-Wing Back who is currently at Spurs, and there have been rumours that we could be getting him on loan this January for the rest of the season.

Djed joined Spurs from Middlesbrough after having the season of his life on loan at Nottingham Forest, helping them get promoted into the Premier League with Forest. Shortly after he won the Play-offs with Forest he signed a new move to Spurs, looking to advance his career, but this season so far he has barely made an impact.

He has only made 4 appearances in the premier league with a total of 3 MINUTES in those 4 matches, not the kind of playing time he would have like to get!

Before he joined Spurs he made 42 appearances for Forest, becoming a very good wing back for them. So, would YOU take him on loan this season, maybe with an option to buy at the end of his loan spell? #

Harry Souttar

Our last player we are linked to who we are looking like getting is Harry Souttar from Stoke City. The Australian joined stoke back in 2016, but he has various loan spells, but since joining Stoke back in 2020 he has been a rock solid defender for them in the back line. He has made 61 appearances for Stoke and has been a solid defender at the back.

he is 24 years old, and grabbed the attention of everyone’s eye being a solid defender in the back line to help Australia perform as well as they did in the Qatar World Cup… Do YOU think he is worth signing?!

Rumour has it that the asking price for Harry is around £15 Million, do you think we will cash out on him this window?

“I think he could be a good addition to our club. We need a new Centre Back, and we need one this window. Hopefully he can come in and do a job, but if you ask me we have got loads of defenders as it is, just stubborn rodgers refusing to play them” – LFTV’s Sam
