Plan B: Brendan Rodgers to alter Leicester City style for Islam Slimani

The Foxes Striker Slimani is set to leave Leicester this January to Ligue 1 leaders Lyon, as Atletico Madrid are signing Moussa Dembele, Lyon’s key striker.

It is set that Slimani is having a Medical today at Lyon, and with 6 months left on his contract, Brendan Rodgers has no eyes or ideas for him in the future of Leicester, so his time looks like it is about to be done with Leicester… Did we give him a fair chance? Was he too much of a bull in a China shop for us?

The 32 year old is set to replace Dembele, Lyon’s main striker, what do they see in Sliman? Do they think he can come in and do the same job as Dembele?

With this, Leicester are looking at replacing Slimani, and rumours have it that we are looking at getting in Odsonne Edouard.
He is a youngster, 22 years old, playing for Celtic in the Scottish League. He has scored 44 goals in 74 matches for them, in his 2 years at the club, could he be a good addition to this Leicester side?

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about Edouard and Slimani…
“I think it is time that Slimani left, he looked like a good addition to the club when we first signed him, but he never really hit the ground running. A few fall outs and not playing has left him out of the club. I think he could have been a very good striker for us, but it just was not meant to be.
This Edouard player looks like a very good prospect for us, but this tells me that Nacho needs to step up his game, because with Perez getting more looks at his natural CF position, and us signing this youngster, where does he fit into all of this?!”

Watch both Slimani’s and Edouard’s highlights down below… Is this a good or bad thing for us? Let us know!
