Shall We Keep Kelechi Iheanacho ?
Nacho scored a goal every 930 minutes he was on the pitch for Leicester City last season.
But what seems to really frustrate fans is he body language on the pitch.
a lot of people thought that when he came to Leicester for the amount from Manchester City that he would become a really good player, but as time goes on he has played less and less and his confidence has become low.
Rodgers said that he want to include him into the squad and he has been announced for the Nigerian squad as well.
This is what 100% LCFC Sam thinks…..
“I think he can become a good player, it is all down to confidence. i would play him in pre-season and see how well he does. with all this said though, i don’t want to bank on him, i would like to sign another player that is proven in the premier league in case Nacho doesn’t work out.”
This is what YOU the fans thought……

We don’t need another season to see if he can cut it. His positioning, first touch, judge of the ball and general movement isn’t premier league quality. He’s a league 1 player at best and anyone can look good at Man City with quality all over the pitch covering for his weakness.
Give the youth squad a chance over him and cut our losses and offload. Releasing is cheaper than hoping someone comes in for him due to weekly wages.

Sometimes in life you get had , we certainly did. Most of us thought we had got the bargain of the century when he arrived he needs to be gone ASAP !!! But who would buy him ? No one is the answer he’s on to higher wages for the championship which is probably his level and maybe suited more to league 1 .
We need to cut our losses and get rid at any cost.

Id call time up on Nacho…. there’s got to be a better youth player to sit on the bench… at least one with promise and desire to score goals. The issue is more likely his Bestie is our #25… and there’s no chance the club want to sell him! So whilst his attitude doesnt reflect the Kings ransom hes being paid, he’ll start to see his bench appearances reduce and become a practice squad player.

Sorry, but I’m not even sure he’s a footballer, don’t think he knows either!

I do think that Rodgers will see him as a young hungry striker, he really could get the best out of him but he and vardy are 2 different types of striker’s. Just don’t know how he is going to do it? Personally I’d keep him and slimani give them both a chance in ore season and bring Che Adams in. Adams is vardy style striker and learning from him would be deadly. Hungary and fast and strong. Also I so think Choudhury should be given more time

Just lacking confidence atm, he’s still young and full of potential, I would like to see more of him next season, he needs us to get behind him and support him as much as we can

He has talent, no doubt, but it’s nothing without desire. Typical of a lot of younger players at big clubs, he’s been spoon fed and rich from an early age and not had to work his way up. Led to believe he’s arrived when he hasn’t. Doesn’t have the desire to be the best he can and make the sacrifices to get there unlike Vardy, Milner etc.

A promising player that hasn’t delivered.
He lacks confidence for some reason (Puelled)
and he’s not switched on at critical moments.
I hope he has a good preseason with Rodgers and comes good next season. We can’t keep relying on JV all the time, Vardy Slimani and Iheanacho should offer a great combination strike force.
Alan Watson
Needs a fresh start. Loan to championship probably best for him .
Jamie Perkins
Got my backing, just lacking self confidence. He shown what he can do at Man City so he can do it, just needs backing of fans, manager and teammates
Ashley Floyde
Just seems dis interested and lazy when on the pitch
Leon Ford
Trouble is he is low on confidence since Puel being there and since that is getting maybe 10 minutes. He doesn’t show the determination or desire but if he got a few goals that would change. He will not take the place of Vardy which I think Puel wanted, and therefore will always be limited for game time which he desperately needs. Let’s see how Rodgers sees things during pre season and go from there
Sam Bull
Obviously has talent but maybe had it too easy at City. Doesn’t seem to understand the ethos of playing for a mid table team like ours, he is lazy
Ryan Finney
Brendan will get him going, he was awesome at Man City. I believe he’s got what it takes, and Brendan will sort him out.
You have my backing Nacho pal.
Mark Orton
After his massive miss against Man City, he needs to move on. Showed just where his heart is and it isn’t Leicester City.
Anthony Matchett
Think he needs to move on never been impressed by his performance since his arrival
Michael Barrett
I think he came here to have a rest from football. Must be hard playing every week when you can sit out the game and get payed big bucks. The open goal he missed at Man City nobody commented but i ask did he want to score. I have never known a player like him we were scammed . The buy back clause was just to make him look worth more than he is has a player and we fell for it
