Ricardo Delights Foxes Fans
We bring you the FANS views, the view from the stands, the view that chats before the match in the pubs, has to queue up at half time for a pie, and then sits back in the pub and runs through every pass, every bad ref decision and every Leicester win…well we hope it’s always a win ! This week 100% LCFC Sam brings you his views on the match…
“Overall it was a solid performance…We didn’t look as sharp or as clean as we did against Man Utd, but 3 points is 3 points. as a new team like Wolves they need to capitalise on chances in the Premier League because as shown it’s costly. I was surprised to see Morgan get dropped but it was for the better, this really shows that Puel is taking control over the squad and will only play who are the best at the time. For the first half hour we looked sloppy, and inconsistent…especially at the back. Evans was off the pace and looked out of position quite a lot of the time which allowed Wolves to push forward and they consistently shot at goal with ease, hitting the wood work 3 times throughout the match. But, after their own goal our heads seemed to rise and theirs seemed to drop allowing us to push forward.
For the Vardy tackle… Personally it’s a red card, yes he got the ball but it was a rash decision to jump into the Wolves player and I know fans are saying that he was fine and wasn’t badly injured, but if Vardy hit his leg with studs up it can break the Wolves player leg or seriously damage it. At the end of the day it’s not that he didn’t hurt the player, it’s the concept of he could of injured him, and the ref saw it as a red card offence so he had to act fast and send him off.
The surprise player was Mendy… No one really expected him to play and when we all saw the team sheet we where baffled that he was in the squad… We all thought differently by the end of the match though… he was nippy, quick and calm when needed to be. He made the correct tackles, didn’t give away any stupid fouls and seemed to be calm and collective on the ball when making decisions. Fans are giving him the nickname Magic Mendy. For me he was my MOTM.
Ricardo… He was just an outstanding player. he out paced the right hand side and stopped them from pushing with ease. The first 30 mins him and Evans seemed to be confused but they partnered up well. The thing for me is he has all the Defending qualities that Danny Simpson had but can also push forward.”
A busy busy day on 100% LCFC with LOADS of fans views about the match. We went live before and after the match to get all the views from The Blue Army.
