Next up… League Champions Liverpool!
we are back in action after the International break, and who else would we be playing then Liverpool!
Liverpool have conceded first in their last three Premier League home matches but have come back to win each time. No side have ever done this in four consecutive PL home matches.
Diogo Jota has scored in all three of his home league appearances for Liverpool. No player in the club’s history has scored in each of their first four top-flight home outings.
He is going to be a big threat against us this weekend, hopefully our defence can hold him back!
Liverpool are unbeaten at home in their last 63 Prem latches, their joint-longest run in the Premier League. Last time they went on this run was in 1978-80, and this run was ended by Leicester! Can we do it again? Lets hope so!
Vardy always loves a goal against Liverpool, and he has scored 7 goals in the last 11 appearances against Liverpool, with Andy Cole (11) and Thierry Henry (8) bagging more goals v the reds in the Premier League.
We have played Liverpool a total of 28 times in the Premier League, winning a total of 7 matches, drawing 6, and losing 15…
This is a decent record against a very good Liverpool team, maybe this weekend we can add to our win tally? Let’s hope so!
In out last Premier League meeting, we lost 4-0 on Boxing Day, which was a disappointing match, and it was around the time we lost our good form last season, let’s hope we can turn it around almost 1 year on!
The last fives matches for both clubs have been mixed, here they are:
Liverpool – 2 Wins, 2 Draws, 1 Loss
Leicester – 3 Wins, 2 lost
This is the season so far from both clubs!

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say…
“It’s going to be a tough match, it always will be. Going to Anfield against an on form Liverpool team is hard to get any points, let alone a win, as it’s been proven, they’ve not lost at home in 63 matches!
With this said, it is all shaping up for us to get a win… They have multiple key players injured, Salah, TAA, Robertson, VVD, Gomez, and a handful more. There’s also the fact that there’s no fan allowed, and we have seen that have such an impact this season, with multiple clubs winning and losing by sunday league score lines, and there’s not much of an home advantage at the moment.
Also, last time Liverpool where on this run, it took little old Leicester to ruin that run! Let’s go and do it again!”
Do you think we can win this weekend? There is a good chance we can come back to Leicester with all three points this weekend!
