Rumours have sprung from almost nowhere that Man City could be launching a last minute £60m bid for Leicester star Riyad Mahrez we are hearing from sources….

Mahrez has looked back to his best in the last 3 months, and made no bones about the fact in the summer that he wanted to move onwards… and in his views, upwards.

Roma reportedly put the ONLY bid on the table for him in the summer for around £32m… which was well under the £50m price tag

With Courtinio moving from Liverpool to Barca for £130m and perhaps more interestingly Van Dyke going for £75m from Saints to the Reds, we think Mahrez, the former PFA player of the season AND Premier League winner should be worth MORE than a defender !?

So for us, we say, NO WAY MAN CITY… if you think £60m is enough for our star…. Comment YOUR views here…

Phillip Holloway
“How can Van Dyke be worth £75m and Mahrez £60m for a start… however. he WOULD suit Man City, and he CAN play in the Champions league for them… I could see this one, but hope it doesnt happen. STAY with us Riyad…. at least until the summer…. if he HAS to go, lets get the right amount at least for him !?”

Anthony Coppersthwaite
“Where’s he gonna play? No chance this is happening from both sides!”

Frank Duckworth
“100 million and he will still keep bench warm”

Steve Harrison
“They’ll get laughed at”

Fateh Guechaoui
“The rumours are spreading around”

Scott Johnson
“Double it, add some and then come back to us so we can reject you”.

Geoff Clarke
“Nothing less than £150 million…. and that’d be cheap for him.”
