Man City let off…?!?

Earlier today Manchester City went under consideration to be banned from 2 years worth of Champions League football, which would have meant that 5th place would have been a Champions League place in the Premier League…
BUT… Earlier today they have officially allowed Man City to play in the Champions League next season…!!

They have said that they broke the rules, and all they had to do was pay the £10 Million fine, but they can continue to play in the Champions League next season… Is this a bit unfair?!

This is what Leicester Fan TV’s Sam had to say…
“It is a bit unfair that they can break the rules, have the ban uplifted just by paying a fine. They should have had the permanent 2 year ban, but with a club that size, we all saw this coming. With this said, we should not have to depend on other clubs mistakes define our season, we needed to get into a top 4 position regardless of Man City’s ban, and we have let it slip from under out feet. We have 3 games to win a MINIMUM of 2 matches, and i can’t see that happening…”

If we cant get a top 4 spot on merit I wouldn’t want to be in CL anyway to be honest. Rather have Europa if that’s what we have earnt. As to the team, sadly we are being exposed lately. We still have a group of exciting players who can over achieve and develop, but our squad is still weak, and we need a stronger spine to the team that can cope when a few go of the boil, as has happened recently. We need players who can adapt to tactical changes without affecting their style of play, and I don’t believe we have that presently. Still believe Rodgers is the man, and hope he proves that with a successful transfer window to begin the development of his squad.

Doesn’t matter. We were 14pts clear of 5th and shouldn’t be in a position for this to matter. Only ourselves to blame. Shocking since the restart and pretty poor before it, Villa win aside

I blame the poor transfer window on bringing in a wolves ( reserve ) bennett. The club was dying for new blood and old blood needed to be released neither of which happened !!
