Our first player looks like joining us… but this is in a swap deal with James Maddison…

Harry Winks is linked by John Percy from the Leicester Mercury to join Leicester City as one of their first Summer Signings after needing a massive u turn of players coming in and players coming out.

James Maddison has agreed personal terms with Spurs, and they have put in an official bid for him for £40 Million + add ons, which we think will include Harry Winks joining us.

Leicester have put a £60 Million price tag on Maddison, but which 1 year left on his contract and being relegated into the Championship, will they get the asking price? Should they take £40 Mil + Winks?

Harry Winks has been at Spurs for 9 years, playing 191 games in all competitions for them, but only creating 8 goals and assists in that time, which is not amazing, but he has been more of a substitute player appearing in the last 10-15 minutes of games.

in 2022, last season, he has a loan spell out to Sampdoria, making 20 appearances and scoring 0, assisting 0 as well… Which is not good. What does Enzo and Leicester see in him?

Do YOU think this would be a good deal to swap Maddison for £40 Million + Winks?

This is what LFTV’s Sam had to say….
“For me, I think it is a decent transfer. To sell Maddison for £40 Million and to get a player in return makes sense to me. Saves the club having to look for the same type of caliper anyway and they can take the money and sign some more players. Winks has played a good amount of games at Spurs, but he needs more consistent game time and with us i think he can get more game time, but him never playing in the Championship is a risk, but we are in a position where we need to start to make some movement in transfers.”
