This weekend, the blues travel North to play the Red Devils who are winless in their last 2 Premier League Fixtures. On the back of 4 Premier League games without a win. With a 2-2 draw last weekend to Palace, how will the Foxes fare against the reds.

Leicester are desperate for a Premier League win again, but know that Solskjaer’s side won’t be a pushover, with that man Cristiano having scored a hattrick midweek.

TEAM NEWS

Raphael Varane will be missing for Utd heading into this weekend after coming off in the Nations League final vs Spain with the only other players set to miss out being the long term  Maguire, Rashford and Diallo.

Leicester head into the game with no new injury worries, with again Justin, Fofana, Evans and Ndidi remaining out injured for the long term.

HEAD-TO-HEAD STATISTICS

In our last game against Manchester United, we came away with a 2-1 win. Let’s take a deeper look at some interesting statistics from our previous encounters:

  • In the last 5 encounters, there have been 2 Leicester wins compared to Palace’s two, with the honours being shared just once.
  • Before Leicester’s 3-1 FA cup win in March 2021, their last win against the Red Devils was in THAT 5-3 win in 2014, bogey.

Personally, I can see this game being Leicester 1-3 Man Utd.  I think Leicester have gone too long without a win for a team of their quality, but I think this will carry on. With talks of Rodgers leaving for the toon, true or not, this will have thrown yet another spanner in the works for this teams confidence. With the likes of Ronaldo, Pogba and Bruno likely to start against a struggling Leicester team, I’m struggling to see how they win this fixture. In addition, I think Vardy and Kelechi showed promise last game with their goals and is definitely a massive confident boost that Leicester can find the back of the net, however, I don’t think it will be enough to ensure the three points.
