The latest rumour to appear is that we are considering selling Dennis Praet, who has been out on loan with Toronto this season, and the club that wants him the most is local rivals Nottingham Forest! [Source: Leicester Mercury]

What happened to Praet? it’s safe to say most of us Leicester fans liked him a lot, and we didn’t want to see him go on loan when he did, but Rodgers didn’t rate him enough, was this a bad call from the gaffer?

facts about Praet

We signed Praet from Sampdoria back in 2019, after he made 98 appearances for them, scoring 4 goals and getting 7 assists, which was decent form for the Belgium, and we made an offer to bring him to leicester.

He made 43 appearances for Leicester back in 2019 – 21, scoring 2 goals and getting 3 assists, and a lot of fans liked the way he passed the ball and created chances, but it wasn’t enough for Rodgers when he came in.

He has been out on loan with Toronto this season, making 23 appearances, scoring 2 goals and getting 2 assists, and their local fans have said they really like him there, but as the season comes to an end, he is now a Leicester player again, but it looks like we might sell him….

fans reactions of Praet to Forest…

“I really liked Praet when he played for us, i thought he was good squad depth and added a new addition into our team when he played. With Tielemans playing below average last season he would have come in and done a decent job, but i’m not sure why Rodgers doesn’t rate him, because we could have done with him last season when we needed some depth, hopefully he joins the team this season” – Sam

“We shouldn’t be selling to local rivals one of our better players. He was good for us, and we can all see that if we let him go to another premier league club, and of course it has to be forest, he will do well there…” – Jake
