Leicester City vs Leeds United Preview
Another week and another rough weekend for Leicester fans.
The 0-0 draw at home to Crystal Palace did lift Leicester up to 19th, four points from 17th. However, James Maddison got his fifth yellow card of the season, leaving him suspended for the match against Leeds.
The Peacocks haven’t faired much better despite their good start which saw them beat Chelsea 3-0. In their six Premier League matches since, they are winless, picking up just two points.
This means Brendan Rodgers has a good chance to finally get Leicester’s season up and running and to also save his job. Having only taken five points from a possible 30, the Northern Irishman is under huge pressure.
If Leicester fail to capitalise on Leeds’ poor form, the King Power faithful will get more hostile towards the manager and his days will be numbered.
