Last minute goal win it for Villa… Match Report

Yesterday we saw Leicester hosted Villa in the first match back after the international break, and it is safe to say that it was not the best match at all.

for 91 minutes of the match, it was pretty even, with both teams not creating many chances and the keepers keeping it at level peggings until the dying minutes of the game, when Ross Barkley took his shot and it found its way into the bottom left hand corner past Schmeichel…

We are currently still sitting in the top 4, after winning our first 3 matches and losing the next 2, which is not the best considering we beat man city 5-2 and then go and lose to West Ham and Villa, who are both on form teams but it would have been nice to pick up some points against them…

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match…
“It was a decent match, fairly even against a good Villa side, but mistakes and turning off gave them all three points, and leaving us with nothing. We have a lot of injuries, and now we are going into playing 2 matches a week with Europa, we need to change something to win matches, as the same tactics do not work with all players, and we need to pick up some points…”

Here are the match stats, it was fairly even, but Villa took their chances and won the match…

our next match is against Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League, and after a harsh loss to Villa this weekend, hopefully on Thursday we can pull it back and bit and pick up some points in our first Europa League groups stage match.
