KANTE Deal To Go Through

FINALLY !! It looks like Leicester City will complete the signing of Caen midfield dynamo KANTE over the next few hours for a reported €7.8m. We understand he has passed a medical at the club today so it should be a formality….

The clubs agreed the deal a couple of weeks ago, but the player had to be convinced of the move. And who can blame him. At the time City had just sacked Pearson and were rudderless without a new boss in place.

Since then Claudio Ranieri has been installed and no doubt having a manager of his pedigree should only act as encouragement as Leicester look to sign quality players from around Europe.

So it seems just a formality for KANTE to sign on the dotted line…. But until the deal is officially complete we must all keep our fingers and toes crossed !

Do we still need another midfielder as well though ? With Matty James out for the bulk of the 2015-16 season, we are still a little light in the middle…. Let us know YOUR thoughts here as we gear up for the start of the Premier Season…..
