Jamie Vardy got the golden boot!

So the season is over, and whilst we may have been on top and slipped at the last match.. Vardy has been the top scorer for the majority of the season, and he has managed to ger himself the Golden Boot! The highest goal scorer of the season, only by one, but this still means he is one of the best strikers of the season!

Not only did he get the golden boot, he is the oldest player to get the golden boot! surpassing Drogba. He is the ninth English player to get a Golden Boot… And the most impressive stat. HE WAS PLAYING NON LEAGUE FOOTBALL !

Vardy came from non league football, to become on of the oldest players to get 100 goals in the Premier League, the oldest player to get the golden boot.. and the ONLY player to come from non league football to get a golden boot! He is one of the greats, not just in Leicester, but in FOOTBALL!!
What a career he has had, and like fine wine, he only gets better with age! Lets hope for another season like this from Vards, and hopefully he can bag one or two goals in Europe football!
