Today we played our first Pre-Season match back for the new 2020/21 season, and it is safe to say that it has been a positive day all round!

So much more to achieve': Jamie Vardy extends Leicester City ...

First off, we announced a new contract for the man, myth and legend that is Jamie Vardy! He has signed a new contract today, extending his Leicester career until 2023, and his new contract will run out a few days after his 36th Birthday, so it is safe to say that he is very happy at Leicester, and might finish his career with us…!
What a player he has been, he is like fine win, he only gets better with age! Last season was one of his best seasons with us, and in the Premier League! Of course after winning the Premier League, but this was the season which he got the Golden Boot on 23 goals, 1 goal ahead of Arsenal’s Aubameyang…
Congrats to Vards on signing a new contract with us… And we from Leicester Fan Tv are all so happy that he can continue his career with us, on a scale of 1/10 how happy are you that he signed for us?!

Another announcement that came out today was the 2nd and 3rd kits got revealed today… And it is safe to say most fans like them!
The first kit, our Second kit, is a nice full white kit with hints off Blue and Gold across the stripes and a nice streaky pattern across the middle of the top.
The Third kit is something quite different… But we do like it as well! Like last season, we have gone for a unique look for our 3rd kit, with last season being Pink and Black, a very bold but amazing choice as most fans LOVED that kit, and now this season we have got a Maroon and White kit, a very stylish and slick look…
We’ve not seen them in person, but from the lads on the pitch playing in that new kit, they look pretty fun and cool!

Now, onto today’s match, well it was a good start to our Pre-Season career for 2020/21 as we beat the Brummy’s 2-0 at their training ground!
Both teams had a mixed side, but by the end Birmingham played a few more 1st team players, and we finished the match on almost all players being development/academy players…

The first goal was scored by youngster Drewbury Hall, a nice setup play by Tielemans that bagged KDH the first goal.
The second goal was scored by the Captain, Marc Albrighton, with a comical goal. The keeper making a mistake, causing him to make a clearance that smacked off Albrighton and went into the top right hand corner to make it 2-0.
We also had a penalty, which Leicester youth player, number 25, could not bag it, not that it would have made a difference in the dying minutes of the match.

Overall, a very good match from us, and the development squad came through and some of them showed some potential for the new season, and might work themselves into the first team a bit more like Thomas & Hirst.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv thought they should give on a scale of 1/10 for the players!

Who is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall? The Leicester City youngster who ...

The whole team was at a 7/10, not one of them played a poor match, but some players had a better game then that!

Tielemans, Albrighton and Mendy all got a 8/10 as they all made very good impact and made a big difference in today’s match.

But our MOTM goes to Drewbury Hall, not only because he got himself a very good goal, but he made a lot of across the pitch passes, and saw things that a lot of players would not, making him our Man of the Match for the Pre-Season friendly!
