Is £50 Million worth it for Tarkowski?! We say NO!!

Again this transfer window, we are looking to sign Tarkowski from Burnley once again, but this time there is a hefty price tag on his forehead, and we are wondering if he is worth that much money?!

We at Leicester Fan Tv think that that is way too much money for him, and for that price we can go and sign a more proven Center Back, but should we get him?

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say…
“Yes we should go for him, but he is not worth £50 Million. Understandably like Maguire they have put a ridiculous price tag on his head, probably because they don’t want to sell him, but if someone offers them £50 Million, they will take it! For us though, we can go another route to sign a better defender in my opinion for that kind of money, so if the asking price is lower, go in for him, if it is not, we can go another direction…!”

“Leicester City are set to renew their interest in James Tarkowski but Burnley are unlikely to accept a bid lower than his £50 million release clause, according to The Mirror (12 August, page 54).

Equal parts commanding, equal parts classy and cultured, there is a reason why this England international centre-half was identified by Brendan Rodgers as the ideal man to replace Harry Maguire last summer.

Stylistically speaking, Tarkowski and Maguire are one and the same after all – defenders with a warrior’s spirit coupled with a modern, ball-playing style which makes them a perfect fit for a possession-heavy Leicester side.

And while the Foxes are expected to keep hold of Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu this summer, qualification for the Europa League means they could do with some added depth at the back.”

This is what HITC Football reports had to say on him… Is he worth a punt, are Burnley willing to sell him at a lower price.

Do you think we are willing to splash the cash on a player like James?
