How good has Tielemans been this season!?

He has made 41 appearances for us, including his loan spell before signing with us, scoring a total of 6 goals over the two seasons he has been with us.

We asked you, the fans, how good has he been for us this season? He has had his good day and his bad days, so we got a mix of fans comments on him, this is what you had to say…!

Frankie Wightman
He looked really tired halfway through the season. Maybe we expected too much from him with how he played during the loan spell. He’s obviously got the quality and it’ll come back he just needs a big confidence boost

Anne Timson
He is a very good footballer.This was his first full season in the first team. He is skillful and has a good range of passes.He will only improve as he gets older. Remember he is still young and still learning and he plays for us.

Marcus Cobley
He has the ability to unlock defence with glorious passes. He has oodles of talent. Yet this season has been woeful at times with many dreadful misplaced passes. I agree with others that he hasn’t looked fit enough.

Ben Hilder
Expected alot more from him after how he performed throughout his loan, maybe playing for his future was extra motivation? Think he has performed better in games without maddison as he seems to thrive on the extra responsibility, seemed to tire and hopefully this break recharges his batteries and he comes back the player we know he can be week in week out

Pete Coombs
Yep. Quality player! Makes everyone around him 10% better, & that’s one of the rarest skills in football. Just because he isnt a speedster or full of flair, doesnt mean hes lacking. Fitness was questionable mid season, but that’s what development is for.

Rob Olive
Yes he was great at the start had a dip Rodgers noticed this and dropped him then he came back stronger he is only going to get better

Andrew Smith
This season he has been a shadow of the player he was last season. Looks overweight also.

Alex Munro
I think he quite easily has crises of confidence. A couple of average games and he stops playing with ease, his natural game, and starts to force things. Less and less comes off and he goes into his shell entirely. His game is adventurous – in this respect he’s a bit like a winger in that he’ll have inspired games whilst also having poor ones. He just needs to realise this.

Owen Phillips
Was decent towards the end of last season even though hes had moments of class he’s been abit of a ghost the majority of the time. Dont know what’s happened to him

Good start and flashes of brilliance but he’s faded badly as it’s gone on

All the messing about trying to sign him I don’t think he had a proper pre-season because I think he’s got the quality
