Have the Wheels fallen off?!? Everton 2-1 Leicester Report
After a very disappointing start to the restart, drawing to Watford and Brighton, and losing in the FA cup to Chelsea, we needed to go to Everton and get at least a draw, but we did not manage to do that!
After a very poor first half to the match, we where deservedly down by 2 goals, and going into the second half playing on of our poorest half’s this season… Rodgers needed to make some changes!
We came out in the second half and brought on Nacho and Maddison for Praet, and even though we played well in the second half of the match, we could not come back to score 2 goals to equalise with Everton, and Nacho’s lucky goal that smacked off his head that went in allowed us to come back a small amount, but not enough to make a difference, coming out of the match 3 points down…
Here are the match stats from last night game…

You have to start wondering what is going from this season, and if we will pick up some form going into the last few matches. We play Palace this weekend, and if we do not win, our season is done and dusted and we would be lucky to get inside the top 6, which would be a bad season for us considering we where comfortably sitting in 3 by 10+ points at Christmas… What has gone wrong??
Lucky for us, West Ham beat Chelsea to just barely see if 3rd for the weekend by a mere 1 point… This has to be a sign that we need to pick up form, as luck was on our side this week!
MATCH SUMMARY
Everton made it back-to-back victories with a 2-1 win over Leicester City at Goodison Park.
Richarlison gave the hosts a 10th-minute lead when he met Anthony Gordon’s cross from the left.
Everton then doubled their lead just three minutes later with a penalty following Wilfred Ndidi’s handball, which was spotted by VAR.
Gylfi Sigurdsson converted from the spot, scoring his second league goal of the season.
Leicester brought on Kelechi Iheanacho as part of a half-time double-substitution, and his introduction led to a goal when he deflected Mason Holgate’s attempted clearance past Jordan Pickford.
Iheanacho was then denied an equaliser by Pickford, who led a resilient Everton defence to see out the win.
The Toffees move up to 11th with 44 points, level with Sheffield United.
Leicester, without a win in three matches, remain third.

Without Recardo we have no attacking threat . Chilwell still insists on passing backwards , even in the last ten minutes of last nights match ,when we had a bit of impetus ,everything slows down on the left of our team , because of his poor form . He’s even affected Barnes , with his lack of decent passes his form and effort has been awful . Play Justin at left back or play Fuchs ! Chilwell allowed Richarleson to score thier first goal ,Entire team treed to put 100 percent more effort into their play . Again 12 or more corners without a single effort ion goal ! What on Earth are they doing in training !! Need a big clear out at the end of the Season . Sell Chilwell , Tilemans ,and Maddison and use the funds to buy another quality striker and two midfielders and a left back !
