RouteOneFootball's tweet - "(☀️) Leverkusen are interested in signing Demarai Gray 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 from Leicester. The 24-y.o. winger plays no role at Leicester, will be a free agent in summer. Talks have opened

Rumours have it that Demarai Gray is on his way out of Leicester, and it is quite a shocking price!

Does anyone else feel like we just signed Gray from Birmingham? Well in fact it has been 5 years since he joined us, and he has not found his feet at all in a Leicester top…

We signed him back in 2016, and since being a Leicester player, he has made 133 appearances for us, and scoring 10 goals, barely making an impact for us…

So, how much are we willing to sell him for? Well, it has been rumoured that German side Leverkusen are interested in signing Gray, but for only £2 Million! Is this too little for Gray? or do we just ship out the dead wood and open up a fresh spot in the squad?

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about Gray leaving…
“His time is done at Leicester. He never hit the ground running, and every time he played he looked like he didn’t care. He was too full of himself, and he’s not played for us with a cool head, so for me his time is done, we don’t need him anymore, and he is way past his potential with us at Leicester. Don’t get me wrong, he looked like a great prospect, and someone who could turn into a 50,60,70 million pound player, but it just never happened for him at Leicester.
With Perez, Albrighton, Under, JJ, Castagne, Barnes and a handful of other players who can play in those roles, Gray just doesn’t fit into this Leicester side anymore, and realistically we don’t need him anymore.
Is £2 Million enough for him? Yes, it is to me. The money is not great, but it’s not just £2 Million in the bank for him, it’s 55K a week wages he is on that he will no longer be on, which is about 2 Million in wages a month! We should invest that money in better areas of the club, and if he does go i wish him all the best, and i hope that we see him succeed as a player! He is still young, and he has many good years ahead of him, if he chooses to take them!”
