The Foxes fielded a second string side and got rightly punished in Portugal but the Fringe players like Grey and Hamer and Hernandez failed to grasp the opportunity !!

Positives

You really have to clutch at straws to find any positives. Probably the main one is Leicester had already won the group. It was also encouraging to see Nampalys Mendy back from injury.

Negatives

Leicester had nothing to lose and yet put in another tame performance leading to their heaviest defeat under Ranieri….
