French Wonderkid Tipped for Leicester!

As we all know Youri Tielemans doesn’t want to sign a new contract with us here at Leicester City, and it looks like Arsenal and Manchester United are amongst the rumoured favourites to sign the Belgium, so what does that mean for us all at Leicester City?!

We need to find a solid replacement for him, and the latest rumour has it that we are looking at signing French wonderkid from Lyon for the asking price of around £27 Million and he looked like he was tipped to go Arsenal, but it has been sourced (Leicester Mercury) that we might come in a snub him to Leicester City! All About Houssem Aouar

He joined Lyon back in 2009 when he was child, staying with the side until 2015 when he made a breakthrough for Lyon II, the B team for Lyon, making 22 appearances in the league and scoring 4 goals for them in his 2 year spell.

After playing a few games for Lyon II in the 2017/18 season, he got pulled into the first team to play, and it’s fair to say he hit the ground running!

Since playing for Lyon in 2017, he has made 162 appearances in the league, scoring 28 goals and creating 23 assists, which is a great amount for a midfield player!

He also in 2020 broke into the French international team, as we all know are one of the best teams in the world. Even Though he has only made 1 appearance for them so far, he is looking onward and upward for club and country!
