Foxes Looking to solidify top half finish

Leicester will be hosting already-relegated Watford on Sunday, knowing that if they can secure 9 points from their final three games, they will finish in the top half of the premier league, which seemed a longshot at the end of January.

There was a real possibility that the season could tail off after heartbreak in Rome, but there was no hangover against Norwich with a 3-0 win thanks to a Jamie Vardy brace and Madders picking up his 9th of the season. It was their first win in seven in the league, and it will help build morale leading into the run-in

Ahead of Sunday, there is one injury concern,  Wesley Fofana felt a tightness in his calf, although Rodgers said that is to be expected after playing so many games after so long out.

You can expect the same XI to start against Watford unless Wes overcomes his minor injury, but you would not expect him to be risked this late into the season.

Rodgers has already said he doesn’t want the season to go out on a whimper, and a top half finish will do just that and will give a sense of optimism going into next season.

This is City’s second to last home game of the season, where they will play Southampton at home on the final day with a match against Chelsea due to be played next Thursday.
