Foxes looking for one of their greatest nights! By Matt Ballard
Leicester will go into Eindhoven looking to make history, and Brendan Rodgers is under no illusions about the task at hand, urging his player to create more club history after their historic FA Cup win for the first time in club history last season.
There are only three injured players unavailable for the Foxes, Jamie Vardy, Danny Ward and Wilfried Ndidi. With the latter out for the season and no realistic timeframe for the other 2. PSV, on the other hand, rested all their key players at the weekend with one eye on Thursday night and the other on their dutch cup final against Ajax on Sunday, which will hopefully help City capitalise on any complacency.
The captain is one of the few players at the club who has won three trophies the club and is under no illusion ahead of Thursday’s crunch tie, saying: “As a club, we have grown incredibly. We are sitting in the best training ground in the country, we have been in European competitions, we have won trophies, and we are constantly trying to fight on all fronts.”
Can we get a win tonight in possibly our biggest match of the season?
This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say…
“It’s a huge match for us all tonight, after a 0-0 first leg it’s going to be a tough, tough match going away to PSV with their home fans backing them, so we need to NOT buckle under pressure tonight and secure the win, come home going into the Semi-Finals!”
