Fans Views After Man U
So finally the new season kicked off last Friday night, and the Blue Army was out in full voice up at Old Trafford. The final result was not what we wanted with United winning 2-1, but the over all performance from us was we feel very positive.
We had more possession, more shots, more corners, more passes… but as somebody famously once said, the only stat that really matters is the final score.
In our regular Monday night live FANZONE show, 100%LCFC Phil hosted a video call in, and chatted with loads of Leicester City fans about the match, and we debated the fall out of the game.
It is well worth a watch:
We asked the fans for THEIR views from the match… here are some of the best comments, do YOU agree with them ?
Joanna Astley
I reckon if they had took Fred off first maddy would have been left on. United were frustrated it wasn’t their game they didn’t figure we were going to be such a very strong controlling side.
Luke Christopher Till
lack of confidence referees seem to have in penalising United players when they’re at home. Stonewall penalty on Gray not given and also Fred’s lunge was a red card
Ian Wright
If Allbrighton had all those chances to cross it that Chilwell had he would have put it someones head instead of past the goal & out for a throw in. Comeback Fuchs & Albrighton.
Dan Hall
Wolves cannot be taken lightly they have added to their squad well in the transfer window. First home game of the season and a noisy crowd against wolves we should come away with 3 points.
Luke Christopher Till
Watched the game, felt optimistic. Deserved a point. Thought we had a stonewall penalty on Gray not given. Fred should’ve seen red for his lunge on Demarai too

I have one complaint about our overall play now, there is no urgency or penetration to get into the opposition box still…
Imtiaz Chowdhury
Hope we can keep Neves and co quiet on Saturday because their confidence will also be high after the draw with Everton
Gary Lcfc Clark
Yes drop Morgan, how can anybody say no. Respect to his contribution since he arrived at the club, will always go down as a legend at the club but it’s time to MOVE ON
Dan Hall
We were up against it after giving that penalty away however the performance and the togetherness of the team gives me a lot of hope for the rest of the season
Gary Lcfc Clark
Performance was very positive there’s no doubt about that, just lacked the cutting edge in attack and the score clearly matters more than stats
Jason Mills
If we can replicate that performance for the rest of the season,my glass could become half full instead of half empty with puel
Jason Mills
Another day v another side other than at old Trafford,we win that game as man united would have had ten men after Fred kicked Gray
Mark Truman
We should be beating teams like wolves we have the experience to beat them in the premier foxes 2-1 win
RoBert Bird
We should of got rondon b4 Newcastle then at least would of ad target man, an 2 feed vardy we knock downs, need 1 in Jan sales
David Gavin
I think that Siva doesn’t probe forward enough… seems to hold in midfield too much where maddison attacks ….wolves will not want vardy to start
Scott Moore
I thought we had a really good game but drop amarty and gray needs to learn to pass Maddison to stay on and nacho off instead
Steve Hilton
Strikers need service from midfield .that’s the problem .can’t anyone cross a ball apart from Albrighton !!
Neil Bennett
Silva overrated like you still waiting for him to shine BUT ! Should be showing by now
Luke Maitland
Proud of the team performance thought we were unlucky
Joanna Astley
Maddison is going to be our star of the season
Tia Samantha Woodward
I think if he chooses team correctly we will win Madison, chillwell,Maguire, vardy,n gray
John Hillcoat
Should have started Vardy from beginning, new lads looked good.
Mick Hewitt
I think we are better with Albrighton in the team. Better balance.
Reece Clifton
Puel is the man to lead us forward #keepthefaith
Joseph Allen
League cup would be good and a 7th place position as well.
Kevin Howard
Will nacho start again, he put a shift in ??????
Joseph Allen
I wouldn’t play Armertey at all after that performance.
Joseph Allen
Maddison is a breath of fresh air and I thought Ricardo played well.
Luke Christopher Till
Anyone else worried about the lack of a plan b? No aerial threat upfront with Ulloa & Slimani gone now.
Andy Medhurst
Albrighton needs to teach chillwell how to cross the ball
Gary Lcfc Clark
Stats mean nothing, it’s the score that matters
Gary Lcfc Clark
Deserved at least a draw! Just lacked that cutting edge in attack.
