The 34 year old Japanese player came from Mainz with an impressive record, and his passion and energy helped us win the Premier League!

He did not score many goals for us, but he was an incredible player, helping set up goals with his slight touches and clean passes, an unforgettable player who was always a fan favourite!

Haven’t thought about Shinji in a while but seeing his face just now reminded me how much he put a smile on my face during his time at the club. I’m not sure any other Leicester player has for the same reasons.
Obviously there have been some great players at our club, but I think Shinji is my favourite.
