Fans Player Focus – Kasper Schmeichel!

Kasper Schmeichel joined Leicester in 2011 and has since made 330 appearances as well as winning the Championship and the Premier League.

He has played for a numerous amount of clubs before joining the Foxes, teams like English Champions Manchester City, and for local rivals Coventry City!

So many great football memories but the thing I remember most about Kasper is the way he conducted himself when we lost our Chairman Vichai. His true character came to the fore in the words of his heartfelt tribute and the dignity and leadership he showed at that time was exemplary. Not just a great goalkeeper but a wonderful human being as well

Penalty save against Sevilla. Save v Burnley great escape season. Also one that sticks in my mind Is the last minute penalty save at home to Middlesbrough in the year before promotion. Friday night game I believe.
