Fans Player Focus – Jamie Vardy !
Jamie Vardy!
He joined the Foxes back in 2012 from non league football for a record amount of £1 Million!
In his career so far, he has made a total of 265 appearances for us, scoring 119 goals!
We asked you, the fans, about your best memories and moments he has produced in a LCFC top… And this is what you had to say!
Newton Kanye
He has scored so many brilliant goals but a recent fantastic one was his solo effort against west ham to give us a lead in 2020 we lost the match but that was juss too good for me…..speed combined with accuracy to catch their goal minder off guard
Russell Jeffery
An absolute “Legend” he will go down as the best ever player to don the blue shirt and represent the fighting foxes spirit, it is a great honour to have said I saw this in my lifetime and he continues as a top player in the greatest league on earth!!! Respect
Gary Evans
West Brom away in the Great Escape, not only the goal but what it meant to him
Jamie Thompson
His wonder strike vs Liverpool in our title winning season. Plus his remarkable goal scoring run of 11 games in a row! God help us when this legend retires! He won’t be easy to replace!!
Jo Callis
An absolute super human athlete, goal machine, god and Leicester City legend
John Wood
Scoring the 4th v Utd in that win?
The Liverpool goal. I went in Glenfield for a lung cancer OP 2 days later. ( irony, as I regained faculties after op, 1st thing I was told Huth had put us 1 up at Citeh) his hat trick v City in that 4-2 win, when he pulled 1 back at Sevilla, anyone can say he got us battered by those thugs masquerading as law, but you knew we had hope after that. That’s Jamie Vardy, he gives you/us hope..
Tommy Collins
Scoring against man United to break the premier league record and as it was Man United it made it all the sweeter
James Fraser
Liverpool volley or the 11th consecutive goal against united
T.J. Chapman
Getting Samir Nasri sent against Sevilla. The goal against United to equal the premier league goal scoring record & the Liverpool goal of course!
David Gavin
The goal v WBA …. pure instinct….or his 11th goal in a row… he belongs to us that’s the main thing
Tim Noonan
His goals are not his biggest contribution. His attitude and spirit that spread throughout the team is.
Jonathan Spencer
His volley against Liverpool in the title winning year
Chandu Dave
Leicester City legend. 11th goal in 11 games is my favourite.
Wassil Drikeche
His goal against Liverpool after Mahrez’s magical pass in the 2015/2016 season
Derick Hare
Liverpool, no need to say anymore. Still brings tears to my eyes.
As you can see, a lot of people think his stunner against Liverpool is one of his top 5 highlights, if not number 1?! Who can argue with that, look at this sweet struck goal by our Number 9!!
