Euros star is coming to Leicester?!

Some more rumours that have been coming out of the woods is that we are interested in signing Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria… So, who is he and why are we interested in him?

Mikkel is a 20 year old Danish Midfielder who has been taken to the Euros alongside with Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel, and it is safe to say he is doing very well! He has played 6 matched and scored 3 goals so far, setting up a handful of goals for Denmark too in his Euros journey… So far!

He helped the Danish side beat Wales 4-0 to progress to the quarter finals of the competition, and he has caught the eye’s of many teams, including Leicester!

since 2020 he has been playing for Sampdoria, making 35 appearances and scoring 2 goals, whilst setting up a good amount of goals for the side, he might be on his way to another club!

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say on Mikkel potentially signing for us…
“He looks like a good, young prospect, and i think he will be a good addition to the side as a rotation player for the upcoming European tour and Premier League team. Hopefully we can snatch him up before any other clubs come in for him, and with Kasper with us, maybe we can persuade him to come and join us!”
