Europa is what we got!

So it’s all over. The season comes to an end. With an amazing start to the season, to how we have finished it off… Are you happy with Europa? Some Foxes fans are just happy that we are in the Premier League for another season?!

We asked you, the Foxes Fans, these questions as our season has now come to an end, and with the restart of the season coming on the 12th of September, what are we looking forward to now? Signing some new players? selling some players? developing our squad is now key for our future, and if we want to succeed in Europa, we need to add depth to our squad and try to keep hold of key players this season!

On Facebook, 67% of the Foxes fans take a step back, and look at how much of an achievement a top five place is in the Premier League, getting Europe football for a 3rd time in our total time as a club, and two of them coming within 6 years apart, this is massive stepping stones for a club that has been known as a ‘yoyo club’ that comes up and down from the Premier League to the Championship… So who can complain??

Well, this season there’s a handful of fans that are not happy with 5th place, and that is also understandable! From being in a VERY solid 3rd place, sitting 14 points ahead of 4th place, to us dropping out of the top 4 with only a week of the season left, this can be quite upsetting. We asked as well if UCL was what we should be in right now, and 33% of fans thought that we should have Champions League this season!

But, regardless of Europe football, ALL fans are happy that we are in the best league in the world again, and the fact that we are arguing weather UCL or Europa is good enough, shows how far we have develop as a squad, and it is only onward and upwards from now on for the Foxes! Exciting times ahead for us now!!

Given the average cost of our starting 11 compared to the teams that finished above (and below) us and the unexpected break in the season and then playing behind closed doors and the injuries we have achieved 5th which I feel is a great achievement and Vardy deserves the Golden Boot

Both😂 we shouldve had UCL given our position but at the same time happy to be in the europa league and get some European football. Plus imo we have a great chance of winning europa

Season should have been suspended and then cancelled, shows we has supporters do make a difference to our lads , they need there 12th man to get behind them , that said champions league would have been fully deserved with the start we made to this season , but Europe was the aim at the start of the season, so mission accomplished, onwards and upward

Unprecedented season, glad its over and ultimately achieved the pre season aim….lcfc bk in Europe…. if the lockdown didn’t happen we would have beaten Brighton at home in front of our fans who we thrive off more than most teams and have made champions league. Season is over move on, keep the good players we have and add more depth and quality to the squad to compete and cope with 4 competitions.

europa league will massively (negatively) effect the foxes league season, next season. last time we were in europe (without decent signings) it cost claudio his job

At start of the season anyone would’ve jumped at a place in any European competition, however It’s a blow after our first half of the season. We have a really good chance in the Europa League but need new signings to improve in the number of games next season!
