Coming off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle and a 1-1 draw to Everton we played Aston Villa at home, and it was another boring match as it ended 0-0…

With Roma in the back of the players and Rodgers’ head, is the season in the Premier League written off? Are we fully focused on the European Conference League?

This is what LFTV Sam had to say after the match…
“It was a bang average game, drawing again to a team in the lower half of the league. Regardless of how much we want to win the Conference League, we need to still put ourselves in the best position in the PL as possible this season, and I don’t think we have done so when the chance has come around… For me, I’ll back Rodgers IF he wins us the Conference League, but if we don’t get to a Final or even win it and continue this poor form in the league next season his time is done as a LCFC manager”
