Goals from Maupay and Welbeck earned a 2-1 home win over Leicester to take Brighton up to 4th in the Premier League.

Brighton went ahead within 35 when Maupay sent Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way with a penalty kick after a VAR review confirmed that Duffy’s header had hit Vestergaard’s arm… But we here at Leicester think that Jannik go pulled down into the ball! What do you think?!

Just after the second half Welbeck came into a glancing header from Trossard’s delivery to make it 2-0.

But we pulled one goal back within the 61st minute when Vardy, making a club record of 250 appearances, converted Tielemans’ superb cross, also giving him his 150th goal for the club too

Leicester twice thought that we had levelled, through substitute Ademola Lookman and Ndidi, but both goals were disallowed as Barnes was ruled offside for obscuring the view of the goalkeeper Sanchez on both occasions

Victory lifts Brighton up to fourth, one point off leaders Liverpool. Leicester drop to 12th.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say…
“I think we should’ve got at least a point against them, and i feel the ref was once again against us. For the offside goals Barnes is interfering and in today’s modern football, he needs to know not to do that, and especially twice. for their penalty, it was never a penalty, clear as day that we should have a free kick not a peno to them. Overall, we still need to pick up plays, Madders and Youri need a kick up the arse or to be dropped, they’ve been sloppy from the begging of this season, so Rodgers needs the balls to change the team around sooner!”

what do you think to all of this?! Do you agree with these statements and thoughts from the match?!
