Colwill Tipped for Leicester Move!

The latest rumour to appear is that Leicester are heavily linked to pick up young-prospect player Levi Colwill, a young Chelsea Centre Back who helped Huddersfield last season reach the Championship play-off finals, but where unfortunate to beat Forest and lost, due to an own goal scored by Colwill… BUT, he has had a great season, and a real prospect player we could use!

last season, he went on loan to Championship side Huddersfield, and helped them reach the Play-off Finals.

In his debut season, he made 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and getting 1 assist, whilst only picking up 6 yellow cards and no red cards in all competitions, a very good track record for the youngster!

He has also been playing for England U21, just breaking into the competition this season making his first 2 appearances for the Young 3 Lions.

“I think this is exactly the kind of player we should sign. We need a good Centre Back pairing with the likes of Fofana and Evans, and a young, proven player is what we need. yes, he might be a bit on the younger side, but he has had an outstanding season with Huddersfield, so there’s no reason why he wouldn’t slot into this Leicester side nicely. In my opinion i’d rather sign players like this than abroad players who have had a good season in a different league… giving players chances really help them prove more, look at this season… Maddison, Vardy, KDH have all come from lower down and took the chances when given, so i think he would prove himself more at Leicester than other players who don’t know the league as well!” – Sam
