Leicester 2-2 Brighton Leicester City go into the quarterfinals of the EFL Cup after beating Brighton 4-2 penalties. This came after an action packed 90 minutes which ended 2-2 at the King Power Stadium. It was Brendan Rodgers’ side who opened the scoring. Harvey Barnes scored in the sixth minutes as he capitalised on a poor pass from Jason Steele. This was followed by two goals in added time to the first half.
