Leicester vs Watford Preview

This weekend, the blues host Watford, who come into this game on the back of a devastating 4-1 win against Manchester United to put an end to this reign as manager. On the back of 3 Premier League games without a win and no wins in 4 in all competitions and a 2-2 draw last weekend to Palace, how will the Foxes fare against the reds.

Leicester are desperate for a Premier League win again, but know that former foxes’ title winner Claudio Ranieri won’t be a pushover, with their performance against United a stepping stone for the Hornets.

Leicester head into the game with no new injury worries, with again Justin, Fofana, Pereira and Tielemans remaining out injured for the long term.

HEAD-TO-HEAD STATISTICS
In our last game against Watford, we came away with a 1-1 draw. Let’s take a deeper look at
some interesting statistics from our previous encounters:
• In the last 5 encounters, there have been 3 Leicester wins compared to Watford’s one, with the honours being shared just once.
• Leicester haven’t lost at the King Power against Watford since 2013 where they lost
2-1, for this, you’d have to go back to when we were both in the championship.
Personally, I can see this game being Leicester 2-2 Watford, I think Leicester have gone again too long without a win for a team of their quality. Although Watford definitely have the quality in their side to take the points, Rodgers know that if this awful form continues, as well as the football on display, fans will start to doubt. II think the will to win and the need to win will help Leicester win this game.
